Editing an email notification template

Email Templates is a section in Cleverific Order Editor’s Advanced Settings that allows you to view and edit your current email notification templates.

Edit an email notification template

Steps

  1. Navigate to Apps > Cleverific Order Editor.

  2. In the side menu, click Settings (gear icon) > Email Templates.

  3. To open a template for editing, click the title of the template you'd like to update.

  1. The following fields can be updated with straightforward text edits:
  • Name
  • Subject
  • From Email

  • Bcc Addresses (optional) 

    If you would like to update the content of the email itself, you can do so in the field titled Body.

  1. Once you've edited your email notification template, click Update at the bottom of the page.

Changing the custom message

  1. Navigate to Apps > Cleverific Order Editor > Settings > Email Templates.

  1. Click "Order Updated - Default Template" to open the template.
  2. Navigate to the Body section.
  3. Perform a search in this Body section with CTRL + F (Windows) or Command + F (Mac), and enter {{ email_body }}

  1. Remove {{ email_body }} and enter the wording of your choice instead.

  1. Click Update to save your changes.
