Changing the shipping or billing address on existing orders
Cleverific Order Editor can be used to update shipping and billing information on an existing order. This article will show you how.
Change shipping and billing address
1. Open the order that has shipping or billing information that needs to be updated
- Click More Actions and then click Edit Order.
- In Order Editor, you can edit either the shipping information, the billing information, or both, to match the correct information
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for revisions to be confirmed the order must be associated with a verified email address.
- Once you’ve edited the information, click Save Changes to process your changes.
Note: When entering or editing the shipping/billing address in Order Editor, make sure that all the main fields are properly filled out, such as Last Name, Address, Zip Code, State, and Country.
If any of these fields are left empty, the shipping or billing address will appear blank on your order page in Shopify.

Limitations
The address used in the customer's latest order will be used by Shopify as the default address. So if your returning customer uses a new address when placing their order, this new address will become their default address.
Because of this, when selecting a customer in Order Editor, it will populate the default address provided by Shopify on the customer's card.
